Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and the laws of Uganda. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Services Offered

Mati Chicken Lusaniya provides an online platform for customers to browse menu items and place orders for food and beverages (the "Products").

3. User Accounts and Eligibility

• Age Restriction: You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have reviewed these Terms with your parent or legal guardian who agrees to them.
• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate registration information (Name, Email, Phone Number).

4. Ordering, Payment, and Pricing

• Order Confirmation: An order placed through the Service constitutes an offer to purchase a Product. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
• Pricing: All prices are listed in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) and are subject to change without notice. The total price, including any taxes, will be displayed at checkout.
• Payment: You confirm that all payment details provided are valid and correct.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Given the perishable nature of food products, our cancellation and refund policy is strict:

• Order Cancellation by User: You may only cancel an order within a very short window (e.g., immediately after placing it) and **before the kitchen begins preparing the food**. Once preparation has started, the order cannot be canceled, and you will be charged the full amount.
• Non-Customer Cancellation (Restaurant Fault): You may be entitled to a full refund if the cancellation is due to:
  • Unavailability of the item(s) ordered.
  • We fail to deliver your order due to an error on our part.
• Non-Refundable Situations: Refunds will generally **not** be issued for:
  • Change of mind after the order has entered preparation.
  • Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer.
  • Subjective dissatisfaction with the taste of the food.
• Refund Process: Approved refunds will be processed according to the original payment method.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
